Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Professional and Technical Engineering Activities:
- Spearhead professional engineering activities, providing technical leadership and guidance to project teams.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
- Oversee Engineering Design and Review Processes:
- Manage and oversee the entire engineering design process, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to project requirements.
- Conduct thorough reviews of plans and documents to maintain high-quality standards.
- Drive Plan Production for Land Development Design:
- Take charge of plan production for various land development projects, including water and wastewater distribution systems, surface water management systems, drainage systems, and roadways.
- Implement best practices for design efficiency and innovation.
- Ensure Quality Assurance:
- Implement and maintain robust quality assurance processes through meticulous plan and document reviews.
- Provide constructive feedback and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Offer Valuable Design Suggestions:
- Bring forth valuable design suggestions with a focus on optimizing efficiency, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with project teams to enhance overall project outcomes.
- Manage Commercial and Residential Development Projects:
- Take a leadership role in managing both commercial and residential development projects from conception to completion.
- Foster effective communication and coordination among project stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
- Demonstrated Technical Expertise:
- Proven technical expertise in civil engineering principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Software:
- Proficient in AutoCAD 2014/Civil 3D for plan production, covering a range of land development designs.
- Software and Tools:
- Strong command of Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with ICPR (Interconnected Pond Modeling) and construction/final site plan preparation.
- Professional License:
- Current Professional Engineer license issued by the State of Florida.
- Experience:
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in land development projects.
- Driver’s License:
