Our client's expertise and successes from small to large-scale projects have earned them a place among the most well-respected and highly technical engineering firms in the country. They are looking to add a Junior Engineering Project Manager to their growing team. This role will focus on the design, construction, and management of infrastructure related to the petrochemical projects. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of four to five (4-5) years working on multiple projects at once, focused on petrochemical projects. They possess a positive attitude and believe strongly in collaboration, teamwork, and cross-functional partnerships within the organization. Candidates who have experience onsite would not be an ideal fit, they need the office and multitasking project experience. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage engineering projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and support staff, to achieve project objectives and deliver high-quality results.
  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Ensure that engineering deliverables meet regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Monitor project budgets, expenses, and resource allocation to ensure financial success.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams, addressing engineering challenges and ensuring the application of best practices.
  • Conducts cost analysis throughout the project to determine estimates to complete and/or additional funding requirements.
  • Ensures compliance with client contractual requirements, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Experience working in the office on multiple petrochemical projects
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving acumen.

Education & Experience:

  • A licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Louisiana is preferred but not required.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 4 years of petrochemical project-related experience.

This role does not have any direct supervisory responsibilities.
